Description Clever quotes allow us the opportunity to take a complex and thought provoking idea and convey it with just a few carefully weaved together words.
Soon after publishing "Trading Wisdom", I started tweeting out quotes from the book that I felt were interesting and educational. The response from the community was so strong that several people asked me if I had considered writing a book of quotes alone, and thus the idea was born.The first thing I did was to go back through the last six years of my work on social media looking for old quotes that had resonated with my audience. Next, I added selections from "Trading Wisdom" and combined it all with new material I had yet to release and began the process of building a rough draft. There were several versions of the book that I worked on until settling on this current format which I think works quite well. One quote a day, and a review every 3 months to talk about my favorite quotes and expand on interesting topics.All throughout the editing process many new quotes were generated, allowing me to remove weaker quotes and make the book even stronger. Every editing pass forced me to ask myself if I was using any extra words, or being more complicated than I needed to be. Continually updating and refining these quotes was a challenging but also an incredibly satisfying process. When all was said and done I was left with something I am quite proud of and happy to share with you today.Thank you for all of your support, and I hope you enjoy a daily dose of "Trading Wisdom".
