VINTAGE LIMOGES INKWELL SET
Striking and lovely vintage porcelain inkwell measuring about 3" wide and 2-1/2" tall. Complete with porcelain ink well insert, it also includes the original feather pen with ball point tip which seats into the inkwell port as shown. Painted a German green and accented with gold laurel wreath banding and an imperial "N" and crown on the lid top, it was made by LIMOGES FRANCE as marked.
Condition is excellent - inkwell has no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs or damage other than a fine hint of wear from the lid seating on the inkwell top as shown - the feather pen is original but no longer works with wear to the edges. Acquired recently from the estate of an avid Napoleon collector. Wonderful addition to any home, collection or display!
