ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER GEORGIAN TONGS

Beautiful pair of antique Georgian sterling silver fiddle end sugar tongs measuring 5-3/4" long - weight is 34.4 grams. Featuring an elegant, simple design with oval spoon ends, tongs are clearly marked G.N. in a rectangle attributed to GEORGE NANGLE - bearing a London leopard's head, duty mark, lion passant, and the date stamp "g" for 1822, condition is excellent with no damage - light age related usage wear - no dents, bends, nicks or repairs -- no monogram - a beautiful, warm patina - lovely addition to any table, home, collection or display.
