Antique pre Civil War Dress problem 1850
1. original not reproduction
2. good condition, a couple of small issues
3. this is a "wrapper" dress, no bones
4. fully lined with brown cotton
5. all buttons match, 2 missing, unbuttons down to the hips, after the hips buttons but no button holes
6. minor wear under arms
7. wear around button holes, see photo
8. parasol pocket
9. this has been take in, in the waist area, hand baste on both sides, probably about 2 in. total
10. the black inserts are all original,
11. black braid trim is all original
12. lace at neck is original, hand basted in. can be removed to wash
13. other than the issues I mentioned, no holes and not torn
14. this is all original
15. purchased this from a museum here in NH, Bartlett is a common name in this state
16. card in pocket with brief history, belonged to "Patricia Hawkins Bartlett", will leave the card in the pocket
