Hong Mei (ホンメイ) is China's fast, cheeky blue tank engine, numbered "1," who first appeared in the 2018 film "Thomas & Friends: Big World! Big Adventures!" (きかんしゃトーマス とびだせ！友情の大冒険). A good-natured racer and friendly rival to Thomas, she is a favorite among collectors.

This is a rare Plarail release of Hong Mei by Takara Tomy. She was produced only as a motorized engine within the November 2019 "Doctor-Airplane Thomas and World Friends" set — this is her sole motorized Plarail appearance, offered here as a single engine parted out from that set.
