1950s AVONDVIERDAAGSE (Four Evenings' Walk) Sport Medal, Netherlands

VINTAGE SPORTS MEDAL PIN

Interesting and unusual vintage embossed sports medal on ribbon measuring about 3" long. Marked AVONDVIERDAAGSE (Four Evenings' Walk), first started in 1909 in the Netherlands. Complete with enameled bracket and pinback combination marked WNB2, haven't a clue as to era, but guessing, due to the design, that it dates to the 1950s or so.

Condition is lovely with no damage other than a crease in the ribbon from storage. Acquired recently from a family residing in the Netherlands. Lovely addition to any collection!
