Masses of last year's Hollyhock seeds.  They could be any colour depending on how busy the bees have been.  The photos are a sample of what they were last year but no guarantees.  Wonderful flower for bees.  They will grow anywhere but do need a bit of protection against strong winds.  Mine have a habit of migrating inbetween the flags but haven't the heart to take them out.
