About Us

We are a Premier Musical Instrument Shop for the Woodwind and Brasswind Player, located in Edam, Netherlands. For nearly 35 years we have been offering a high quality product to discerning professionals and their students around the world.

We work in a small and dedicated team and are as passionate about making music as you are. Not only are we a store, we also have an in-house repair atelier, where we are routinely called upon to do repairs from the simple tightening of a screw to complete overhauls. 

Even with the most reputable brands, small problems can occur. Our experienced players will therefore assemble, thoroughly test-play and where necesarry adjust or set-up each instrument to perfection before shipment. We can proudly guarantee that an instrument purchased from Matthew's Music, whether it is a brand new or a vintage instrument, will be in top condition, otherwise we won't ship it.

Methods of Payment

We accept Paypal. If you are a member this allows you a very secure means to pay us quickly and safely.

We also accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, please notify us and we will send you a creditcard payment link. All creditcard payments are handled by a secure page (SSL-page) to protect your data from any third party.

Residents of the European Community are advised to contact us directly in connection with any applicable VAT.

Delivery and Returns

We ship worldwide. We take care in packing our articles safely. All instruments sold by us are carefully checked prior to shipping. You will receive a notification and tracking number that your shipment went out.

Within European Community: We ship with Netherlands Priority Post. Delivery is 2 - 5 working days.

Outside of the European Community: We ship with Netherlands Priority Post which then hooks up with delivery companies such as USPS. Delivery worldwide is 1 - 2 weeks.

If you wish to have your order send with a different postal service that is possible. Please let us know and we will contact you regarding the possibilities and possible extra costs.

Returns: We extend 2-week's time to either fall in love with your purchase or return it, from the day the item has arrived. If you decide to return it we will refund your money and we ask you to pay the return shipping only.
