1972 Press Photo An al fresco fete post Bastille Day sans pluier celebration

This is an original press photo. An al fresco fete (post Bastille Day) sans pluier (the rain miraculously held off) was hosted by Louis Sporl in the patio of his Third Street home. The tri-colors of France could be seen everywhere. And Louis looked very Fenchy in his beret. Tables were covered with all sorts of goodies to go with the barbecued beef roasts. And the band played on! At right, Bobby Johnson pours from a wine bottle chilled in the barrel. With him ae Beverli Whitaker, Cheryl Suchors and Markley Huey. Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 07-24-1972.
