It was new in box but I listed as "used" as there are some points that I need mention.
When I purchased it as "new" fuselage has crack in paint so I put CA not to expand the crack more than that.
The original box is aged and looks weak for long distance shipment. Also it's single layer cardboard box. I won't be using this original box for shipping as it's fragile so I am not comfortable with it.
Instead of the original box, I ordered a brand new custom made cardboard box that is double layer and it had rid that makes even stronger. I will be using this for the shipping. Also the maximum length of the box is less than 150cm, so I can ship by Japan post to Europe.
Shipping type: Due to the new US tariff situation, Japan post stopped all commercial shipping to the US. So I only can use Fedex that does cost more but it is the only option to the US so far.
For Europe, I can use Japan post. That is cost effective and fast. Only their restrictions for large size shipping is the maximum length but I made a box to fit the rule.
When I ship the fuselage, I will be removing the landing gear. As it does look like the landing gear made a crack on the fuse.
Import duties (Tariff) in the United States.
Since 10/17/25, eBay has been requiring Japanese sellers to pay US tariffs on behalf of a buyer in the US. I will be shipping with incoterms DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). So a buyer's US does not have to pay import tax at the point of customs clearance in the US. Due to this, I have been adjusting the shipping cost to US buyers to cover the tariff that I would prepay.
Changes from 2/24/26(Only for US buyers)
The IEEPA’s tariff that had stared early 2025, due to recent US Supreme Court’s decision, it is no longer charged to the US buyers. Instead, USTR implemented another tariff that is under section 122 with 10% (Grace period 150 days). Due to this change, I am lowering the shipping part of tariff for the US buyers slightly (For example Japan origin from 15% to 10%).
Shipping:
Economy shipping (ebaySpeed Pak economy or Japan post small packet) for 7-10 days
Expedite shipping (Fedex, UPS, DHL, or EMS Japan post) 5-7 days
Depending on where to ship, I will be using Fedex, UPS, DHL or EMS Japan Post by considering the destination or shipping dimensions/weight.
Return:
Unless an item listed “Return accepted” in the listing, basically no return is accepted. Return cost is paid by a buyer unless an item is defective. To avoid showing vague item looking and condition, I try to take more high resolution photos. All photos are basically taken by me.
Duties for international buyers (Other than US):
As per the general understanding of international trade, a BUYER as an IMPORTER is responsible for all the customs clearance and import duties and some other processing fees by customs and shipping carriers.
