notice:

1. Before using this product, you must ensure that your SSD is not encrypted, otherwise it will not be recognised by the computer.

2. If the existing operating system of your SSD is MAC OS, and you want to use it on a Windows computer, then connect the SSD enclosure to a Windows computer, and use the diskpart utility to format the drive for Windows OS.

3. When using the SSD enclosure, please do not connect it to the front USB slots of the desktop, and do not connect it to the USB slots on the computer that are closest to the keyboard or mouse interfaces, because they are used for low-power devices such as USB Flash drives, keyboard, mouse etc.

4. If your SSD nominal current is greater than or equal to 1.7A (can be found on the SSD label), we recommend that you use a HUB with an external power supply in order to use the SSD enclosure, because the USB 3.0 interface has a maximum power supply capacity of 1A. The SSD current and power consumption demand will be high, and it may be that on some cheaper computers, the USB slots will not be able to meet the power requirements, which may cause the SSD enclosure to be unrecognisable, or data cannot be read or written, or will cause the SSD enclosure to disconnect from the computer.

5, If the SSD enclosure connection is not recognised in a USB 3.0 slot, or is recognised but not working properly, then you can try to connect to the USB 2.0 slot to reduce the speed and power consumption.

6. Do not move the SSD enclosure when in use, otherwise it will cause data damage or damage your SSD. When the SSD enclosure is not in use, then it is recommended to remove the data cable from the enclosure in order to prevent damage to the USB interface.
