The Watson Marlow 700 Series Pump is a sturdy and reliable tool that can be used for various applications. Peristaltic pumps are the simplest type of laboratory pump, with no valves, seals or glands to become clogged or corroded. The fluid only comes into contact with the inside of the tubing, which eliminates the possibility of the pump contaminating the fluid, or vice versa.
The Watson Marlow 730 has an rpm range of 0.1 – 360rpm, set in 0.1 rpm increments, for a speed control ratio of 3600:1. The motor is reversible, and the pump head can reach flow rates of up to 8.8 gal/min (2,000 L/hr), depending on the type and size of tubing used. The Watson Marlow 730 pump also features a MemoDose function that records the number of revolutions required to deliver the most recently dispensed volume, allowing it to repeatedly dispense that same volume with precision.
The 730BpN/RE features integrated batch processing that enables repeatable, volume specific dosing. It comes with the 720R pumphead installed, a continuous tubing pumphead that uses a single, unbroken length of tubing that is manually loaded, offering flexibility in tubing selection and cost-effective operation for general purpose applications.
