VINTAGE - VINTAGE  1994 - 1995

.

These are official unused game tickets from baseball's NATIONAL LEAGUE (MLB) & the NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE (NHL)

.

MLB - 1995:  These games were officially scheduled to be played and these tickets were printed before a players' strike delayed the season start,  The conflict was only resolved in late April, 1995

The tickets are nonetheless a memento of an unusual year.

--------------

NHL - 1994/1995:  A similar thing happened in hockey. The 1994-1995 season began with an owners' lock-out which began on Oct 1/94 and ended in Jan 1995.

The unplayed game tickets were officially printed as per the schedule before the lockout disrupted the season.  A collectible memento of that year.
