JAMAL SHAH - Pakistani b.1956
JAMAL SHAH PAKISTANI b.1956 RELIGIOUS EXPRESSIONIST 'RED ANGEL' 1999
48 x 35.75 ~ 53 x 40.75 FRAMED
Jamal Shahs composition is truly an incredible piece. Shah's piece depicts a red angel, floating in a Christ-like fashion, with the figures arms stretched out and feet crossed similar to Christ during his crucifixion. Though some of the elements are amorphous, this piece is stunning and it is easily a centerpiece for any home that enjoys Pakistani art. This piece can be enjoyed by many for its wonderful, clay tone palette.
