The Orlons - South Street (Cameo C-1041). Great 1963 LP by the R&B group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that formed in 1960. The quartet consisted of lead singer Rosetta Hightower, Shirley, Marlena Davis, and Stephen Caldwell and won gold discs for three of their singles (The Wah-Watusi, Don't Hang Up, and South Street. Album cuts include: Walk Right In; Big Daddy; Cement Mixer; Mister Sandman; Charlie Brown; Gather 'Round; South Street; Between 18th & 19th On Chestnut Street; Don't Let Go; Muskrat Ramble; Pokey Lou; and, We Got Love. Record is in strong VG+ condition and cover (Shrink-wrap) is in EX condition (has "NR" stamped on back cover and one label.)
