Well, well, what have we here? Up for bid is this charming colored lithograph (or possibly serigraph?) by beloved Spanish artist Maria Teresa Toral (1911-94), entitled Gyroscope and depicting a small child playing with a spinning toy. The piece is dated 1968. It is signed and numbered by the artist, 3/100. This is a lovely miniature, with the embossed image measuring just 2-1/4" square; the opening in the matte is about 3-1/2" by 4-1/2", with the frame measuring about 8-1/4" by 9-1/8". The print is clean with strong coloration; only the frame has sustained wear and damage over the years--not a hard repair, I imagine. What an amazing piece for the collector!
The cold, hard truth, aka shipping & handling terms: As projected by eBay's shipping calculator, domestic shipping costs on Priority packages reflect USPS counter price--with First Class parcels being a close estimate of actual price within the fluctuating per-ounce rate--plus $0.73 in my handling fees. This handling fee not only contributes toward the obvious selling expenses of bubble wrap, boxes, printer ink, and tape, but more significantly towards the steep selling fees imposed by Ebay on your total invoice (sale price + tax + shipping). Even the sale of a $5 dollar mug will incur me over $2 in fees--the higher the cost and weight of the item, so too the fees. Because my sales are primarily based on lower-ticket items, I would not be able to afford to stay in business without this buffer. Thank you for supporting small business!
Mix it, match it, throw it in your basket! I am happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases, so if you'd like, please take a look at my other auctions. Separate handling fees might apply on my other items (see above).
Woof, woof, meow! This item is passing through a smoke-free, dog-happy, and cat-friendly home. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
