These heavy-duty detent springs replace the soft OEM springs with an upgraded design that provides sharper, more confident gear changes. By increasing spring preload, the selector fork action is improved, reducing the chance of missed shifts.

• Some applications use only 2 of the 3 springs (e.g., Honda B-Series has one internal spring located in the transmission case).

• For Honda K-Series transmissions, all 3 springs are used. Be sure to torque the detent bolts to 16 lbf-ft (22 N·m / 2.2 kgf·m) during installation.
