Since ancient times, the small town of Krolevets, located in the northwestern part of the Sumy Region, has been famous throughout the world for its towels. Since 1922, the masters of the Krolevets Factory of the Order of the Badge of Honor "Artistic Weaving" have been preserving and developing the best folk traditions of the Krolevets region. In 1936, at an exhibition in Paris, the Krolevets towel won a gold medal. Since then, it has been exhibited in France, Australia, the USA, and Canada.
