A lovely, collectible 1890s Jane Austen set published by JM Dent, including all 10 volumes, with bindings from the second and third editions (published in 1892-93, which look identical to the first issue of the set from 1892). Edited by R. Brimley Johnson with illustrations by William C. Cooke and ornaments by F.C. Tilney. Decorative gilt embossed pale green cloth with gilt tops and deckled page edges.  A very attractive set with light wear from age, some light browning/foxing here and there, light wear to the rear hinge of one or two volumes. All plates are present, protected with tissue guards - with one loose plate (from Pride and Prejudice).  A rare find. See pictures for a closer look!
