I purchased this from an auction house that specializes in overstock and returns from box stores. I have a feeling someone purchased this and measured incorrectly. Please make sure wherever you want to put. It is slightly bigger than the dimensions of the drawer to allow for hardware and sliding. It is new, but it has been opened.
