A large 6 7/8 inch tall cylinder-shaped amber-colored ANTIQUE PHENACETIN and CAMPHOR COMP. bottle, from BRISTOL TENNESSEE and VIRGINIA. This is a label ONLY bottle, it has NO embossing. Likewise it is an EMPTY bottle, it has NO contents. This bottle comes with 3 original paper labels, yellow, black, and red. Two labels are on the face of the bottle and one label covers the top of the cork. This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE bottle, a Mold Blown bottle with a LARGE cork still in the top, dating back to the early 1900's! - Bottle's label reads in part: "EACH CAPSULE REPRESENTS ... (OPIUM PREP.) 1-4 GR ... THE S.E. MESSENGILL COMPANY ... BRISTOL, TENN. - VA." Please see pictures for more information that the label's provide.
- Condition: Bottle has traces of content haze and age wear, there isn't anything specifically wrong with it. NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc. PLEASE see pictures to get a good idea of its overall condition.
- Age: An ORIGINAL ANTIQUE mold-blown bottle (ABM) with a cork-top, ca. early 1900's.

A BIG GUTSY bottle with all the right stuff! The cork still has a waxed paper liner on it to make the contents air tight. And look at the pictures of the label on top of the cork, quite ornately designed!
