Installation:

The lever's boot is hooked into a bracket at the bottom.

Pry it out completely and slide the boot forward over the lever.

There's a tie there. Cut this off. (A replacement is included with the new lever.)

This will allow you to detach the leatherette boot from the handbrake lever.

Then pry off the front fastener on the handbrake lever.

It's like a hook that can be lifted slightly upwards.

Now the entire handle slides off the lever.

Then slide the new handle onto the handle and secure it with the screws (Allen key included). You may need to retighten the screws after a while. Be careful not to overtighten the screws.

Then slide the boot back over the handle and secure it with the tie.

Then hook it back in place at the bottom.
