Product Description: The Nanbu Tekki ironware from Oshu City in Iwate Prefecture is a practical and folk tool. While honoring tradition they continue to strive for innovation in their craftsmanship. The teapot gets more flavorful with each use becoming a personalized tool for its owner. Enjoy the pleasure of nurturing such tools. The interior is coated with enamel and it comes with a stainless steel tea strainer making it easy to care for and convenient to use. Its simple design allows it to coordinate well with both Japanese and Western styles making it suitable for not only Japanese tea but also a wide variety of teas such as black tea and Chinese tea. Not suitable for dishwasher or direct fire use. Please read the enclosed instructions before use.
