This premium wash tub with a retro and beautiful deep peach-colored bare copper finish is highly effective in preventing the growth of bacteria such as E. coli O-157 Legionella and mold that causes slime. Copper's disinfecting properties are particularly useful for those who frequently use hot water or do a lot of washing in the summer.

For soaking dishes:
The most standard use is of course soaking dirty dishes. By collecting water used to wash vegetables or during cooking it helps conserve water. Pouring rice water or noodle cooking water into the wash tub helps remove oil easily preventing oil transfer to other dishes.

For pickling tempura and preparing salads:
It can also be used for prepping pickles tempura and salads.

As a cooking utensil:
By collecting water to be used for broth in the copper tub chlorine is broken down resulting in a mellower taste. It can be used for prepping pickles salads making pickled plums or plum wine providing clean water without any chlorine odor. The high thermal conductivity of the copper wash tub allows for quick defrosting of frozen meat and seafood. It's also handy for quickly cooling down a kettle or bowl.

After use at the sink:
It can also be repurposed as a bath item.

Lastly though a bit unconventional it can be used as a high-quality hot water bucket. Some people have actually used it as a hot water bucket because they wanted one larger than what's typically available. In the autumn and winter having a copper bucket reminiscent of hot springs or public baths in the bathroom can add a touch of elegance to your daily bath time.
