Product Description
About initial usage
1. Fill the iron kettle with water to about 80% and heat it on the fire.
2. The water inside the iron kettle will gradually boil.
3. Once it boils be careful not to spill and after leaving it on the fire for 10-15 minutes pour out the water to prevent burns.
4. Fill the iron kettle with water again repeat steps 1 to 3 three times before it can be used for the first time.
Normal usage
1. Fill the iron kettle with water and heat it on the fire.
2. When it boils pour it into a pot being cautious of burns.
3. After emptying the iron kettle remove the lid dry the inside with residual heat. Once dry store it with the lid on in a dry place.
Removal of rust inside
1. Put green tea leaves into a cloth bag several times fill the iron kettle with water up to 80% and boil it.
2. Pour out the water from the iron kettle carefully.
3. Put green tea leaves back in and repeat steps 1 and 2 three times. If rust persists repair may be necessary.
Usage precautions
Do not scrub or use a sponge on the inside as it may damage the oxidized film. Avoid using neutral detergents cleansers or scrubbing brushes. If white residue accumulates on the spout of the iron kettle due to long-term use you can carefully remove it with a sharp object. For gas stoves in general households using low heat extends the longevity as they tend to be more powerful than charcoal fires. Leaving water inside the kettle overnight can cause rust to form. Empty and dry the iron kettle immediately after boiling water.
