Step1. Turn off the pump & remove the lid from the chlorine feeder to relieve pressure from the system.

Step2. Unscrew the pressure gauge & the intake pipe from the pump.

Step3. Note the position the handle is pointing to on the new assembly, then move the handle on the old assembly to match the new one.

Step4. Remove the nuts & bolts that attach the valve cover assembly to the valve body. Pull the old cover assembly straight up.

Step5. Remove the old O-Ring from the existing body assembly & clean grime off the top of the existing body assembly.

Step6. Apply silicone grease to the new O-Ring & place it in the groove where you removed the old O-Ring in Step 5.

Step7. Place the new cover assembly over the existing body assembly. Insert & tighten the nuts & bolts you removed in Step 4.

Step8. Reinstall the pressure gauge & reattach the input pipe from the pump. Be sure to use pipe tape on the threads of both.

Step9. Replace the chlorine feeder lid, rotate the valve handle to the desired position, & turn on the power.
