It's a love song that transcends time and space
In the year 2009, the giant space battleship Macross encountered the Zentradi, a combat race,
and was now on its way back to Earth.
In Titan orbit in the Saturn orbit, the enemy launched a diversionary tactic, allowing enemy forces to invade the ship.
Meanwhile, inside the city space, idol singer Lynn Minmay's first concert was taking place.
Minmay fled from the enemy that appeared at the concert venue.
At the moment the enemy's giant hand grabbed Minmay, Ichijo Hikaru, the pilot of the fighter plane Valkyrie, appeared before her.
