  • The R107/C107 SL-Class, the successor to the classic “Pagoda” W113 SL, proved so popular the company produced it from 1971 to 1989 - one of Mercedes-Benz’s longest-running single series. Rather than attempt to meet the race-bred performance of the original 300 SL, Mercedes instead focused on improving the best-loved elements of the W113. The result was a grand touring masterpiece, with plenty of power for spirited driving and a suspension tuned for long-distance comfort. Over its production run, the car received a series of ever-larger V8s along with a series of Inline-6s. Any R107 is an exceptional machine, with a long list of amenities, remarkable performance, and forward-thinking safety.

Naturally, the R107 was an instant hit and featured in numerous television and film series as well as plenty of celebrity and VIP garages. Recently, values of extremely well-kept R107 SLs have dramatically increased, with low-mileage examples naturally attracting the most interest. Whether intended to be used as a show car, weekend cruiser, or even daily driver, R107 SLs offer some of the best mixtures of classic Mercedes-Benz build quality with relatively modern looks and comfort.

The superlative 1972 Mercedes-Benz 350 SL Roadster featured here is finished in classic and desirable Signal Red over a Black interior with a matching folding convertible top and a body-color removable hardtop. This incredible Mercedes-Benz has been meticulously maintained from new and was retained by its original owner until 2015. Marque experts recently completed a major service at a cost of over $15,000, ensuring this incredible 350 SL drives and performs like new. Accompanying this investment-grade 350 SL are its original owner's manual, service booklet, original window sticker, data cards, service records, tools, and more. We are proud to offer what we believe to be one of the very best early Mercedes-Benz 350 SL roadsters in existence. Offered to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who desires to own one of the very best examples of this classic automobile in the world at an investment price!

    Financing

Finance rates as low as 8.9%.

We know that classic car financing can pose a unique challenge. Although a vintage or exotic car can be an excellent investment, some financial institutions attempt to apply standard “used car” rules for financing a classic car, which in many cases can make loan approval difficult.

We work closely with many banking institutions that understand and recognize the collector value of classic cars and view them as an investment, which allows us to help you get the financing you need so that you can have the car you have dreamed of.

Terms available up to 144 Months

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us, (314)291-7000 or credit@schmitt.com

    * Rates vary depending on year of car, length of term and credit score.
