ASSIMA Aluminum Beauty Case 17L
This limited edition series, which pioneered the double-brand RIMOWA collaboration with the Italian bag and apparel brand ASSIMA in the 1980s, is rarely seen at European auctions, and the beauty case is a highly practical, sought-after, and rare model. It has become a legendary collector's item whose value is increasing every year.
Furthermore, this listing is for an early model of the "ASSIMA." It is an early SUDHAUS CODE1420, and is locked with a thick chrome-plated locking latch.
A thick, saddle-leather-like leather strap tightens the aluminum casing over the key lock, and the aluminum corner guards and main handle are also covered in leather.
As this is an older model, there are some signs of wear on the exterior, but there are no noticeable scratches or stains on the interior or exterior, and judging from the condition of the leather strap, it appears to have been used very little. The interior is lined with an ASSIMA monogram.
There are no functional defects in the hinges, joints, locking/unlocking, handle installation, etc. The original key is included.
This is a rare model with a very striking retro design that is difficult to obtain. For those who have been looking for it, it is in very good condition and has a charm that cannot be found in the latest premium models.
