This raised relief world globe has a metal base and arm. It spins nicely. The condition is good / commensurate with age - vintage 1970's. The metal circle at the very top is loose, there is a bit of discoloration/light staining in a few spots, and a little peeling on one side near the equator - all of these can be seen in the photos. The base and arm are a sturdy metal with a nice patina. Overall, it's a beautiful vintage globe that would look great in any library or study.
