Originally released in 1973 on Telefunken, Barock is the second and final album from German progressive folk-rock outfit Parzival. This 2011 reissue by Sireena Records restores the album on 180g vinyl with remastered audio and gatefold packaging. The sound blends acid folk, krautrock, and baroque elements, with production by Conny Plank and arrangements that lean into cello, flute, and layered vocal harmonies.
