Hard cover book with small amount of shelf wear. Cloth covered boards have light denting and grazing to corners, light denting, chipping and occasional graze to edges, some denting to spine edges and light scuffing to front, back and spine. Gilt decoration to front and spine in good condition.

Text block has foxing to all edges. Spots of foxing throughout book to most pages, see photos for examples. Pages otherwise clean and in good condition with sound hinges. Beautifully illustrated with occasional b/w line drawings. Overall a lovely book in very good condition.
