An interesting souvenir fold-out photograph album featuring a horse named Bold Brigadier winner of the Trofee Cino del Duca at Milan Racecourse in 1981.

The contents fold-out and feature 8 25cm by 20cm photographs during and after the race and I think this would have been a gift to the Jockey Eddie Hide from the grateful owners who I think raced as Eugenia Farm.

I think this was possibly a Listed Race or similar and the Horse Bold Brigadier may be by Brigadier Gerard who of course was one of the greatest Racehorses of all time.

This was among a large number of items owned by Eddie Hide I bought at a specalist auction some years ago. Eddie Hide was at one stage the 6th most successful Jockey of all time and he had the distinction of having ridden the winner of all 5 British Classics.

The stiff but padded covers have the gold lettering etc with details of the event and the photos themselves feature some great views of the Racecourse and owners etc.

Some rubbing and an odd small mark to the front cover and a storage indent to the back cover but otherwise good condition with the photos inside in very good condition as per the scans.
