The ¼” LJB Pad is part of the flexible THV Padding System (originally designed by BALANCE International), which is integral to the Functional Saddling Method. This Method is designed to provide maximum comfort for the ridden horse and to support biomechanically correct movement. It also facilitates both postural and muscular recovery and maintenance.
The pad is made using a Pro-Lite gel-foam insert, which helps to protect the skin from shear forces created by movement, and protects the horse’s back.
The pad is covered in a faux suede material and is available in black and brown. It is made with the hook side of a hook/loop fastening system on the underside to attach to a Base Pad as needed, and the loop (soft) side of the hook/loop fastening on top to make it easy to layer with another JB Pad, if necessary.
