ANTIQUE HAND PAINTED CHARGER PLATE

Striking and lovely antique hand painted porcelain charger plate measuring a whopping 12-3/4" wide. Featuring a fine, gold trimmed edge, plate is covered in gorgeous, pink roses in a variety of tones with leave and accompanying greenery. Bearing the original artist's name of T.B. LEWAY, plate is not marked, but is by Limoges, dating early 1900s (the matching serving plates we have are marked Limoges, but we are keeping those for now).

Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration, fading, rubbing, paint loss, utensil marks or damage - it has been beautifully cared for, having been housed in a china cabinet to protect. Perfect as a backdrop with a variety of similar rose plates, it would be a lovely addition to any collection or display.
