A Bit of History:
The Lux Clock Manufacturing Company was founded in Waterbury, Connecticut in 1914 by Paul Lux and his family.
Initially, the company focused on producing clock movements for other manufacturers' clocks. Lux produced various clocks, including pendulette and shelf clocks, many with cases made of Syrocowood (sawdust and resin mixture) or, later, plastic. Some designs, like the "Good Luck" horseshoe clock, reflected popular culture icons or themes of the era.
