● What Happens If Timing System is Not Replaced For a Long Time?
1. Chain:Broken, rusty, chain wheel cannot be detached, dead joint is generated, excessive vibration, chain plate is broken, pin shaft is broken, chain plate contour is worn, etc.
2. Gear:Sprocket worn, broken, and abnormal noise.
3. Guide:Rubber fatigue aging,The surface gradually becomes discolored, frosted, sticky, soft, cracked, brittle and hard.
4. Tensioner:It is generally caused by particles stuck between the plunger and the housing. The particles come from the production assembly process or engine oil.
● What are the precautions during product installation?
1. Choosing the correct timing chain kit for the the car application.
2. Please doing the maintenance according to the car manufacturer's instruction book.
3. Before uninstalling, confirming the timing mark, if it's artificial marked, make sure it won't be wiped easily.
4. Using the correct timing tools, and make sure you are using the torque
according to the car manufacturer's instruction book.
5. Ensure chain tensioner, timing chain, rail, chain sprocket in correct position.
6. Once the chain kit is installed, manually rotating the crankshaft clockwise, and checking the timing mark is in correct position.
