Originally recorded in 1973 and licensed from Nodlew Music, this EP features three standout tracks from Weldon Irvine’s Time Capsule LP. “Deja Vu” is a quirky, melodic cut edited down from its original 9-minute version for this 7" release. “I Am” and “Bananas” round out the B-side with introspective keys and playful grooves. Irvine’s signature blend of jazz, funk, and humanist lyricism shines through, backed by Lenny White (drums), Emerson Cain (percussion), and Alex Blake (bass).
