Reissued in 2024 by Music On Vinyl, Black Gold & Green is a soul-drenched roots reggae classic from Jamaican legend Ken Boothe. Originally released in 1973 on Trojan Records, this limited edition pressing revives the album’s Memphis-via-Kingston aesthetic with audiophile clarity. Pressed on 180g orange vinyl and limited to just 500 individually numbered copies, it features some of Boothe’s finest vocal performances, including his haunting cover of Bill Withers’ Ain’t No Sunshine and the gritty ballad Second Chance.
