For sale is a Antique Lorgnette Folding Glasses marked Society 1/10 12k Gold Gilled on the bridge of the nose. Gorgeous, Ornate Victorian style design. I am unsure of exact age, but beautifully made. Handle is not marked, but the pattern matches the pattern on the nose.
Glasses show wear from age and usage. Some scratches on the lens. The lenses may be prescription, so sold as-is, for collectors, display, or repair only. The lenses only stay up "right" when you squeeze the "handle", not sure if that is how they were made, but they don't stay up just be loosely holding the "handle". Some wear on the frame, handle. Chain is not marked.
