We are delighted to be offering a large collection of vintage fashion dolls, fresh from a local estate. They are in excellent condition, having been carefully stored and displayed by a very advanced collector. .

After a three-year intermission when no new Crissy dolls were issued, Magic Hair Crissy debuted in 1977 from Ideal Toy Corp as a transitional doll in the Crissy line. She bore very little resemblance to earlier Crissy family dolls — featuring a completely new face mold and no grow-hair mechanism.
Instead, she was packaged with five separate hair pieces that attached to her head via small adhesive Magic Dots.
This listing is for an original 1977 Magic Hair Crissy fashion doll in her vibrant redhead version. She stands 18 inches tall, has rooted red hair styled short, bright blue painted eyes, and is re-dressed in a green gown and white high-heel sandals.
Please note: The original Magic Dots hair pieces are not included with this doll.

Magic Hair Crissy is considered a transitional release between the early 1970s Crissy dolls and the later fashion doll concepts Ideal produced.
