A true first edition of Wilson Tucker's science fiction classic about the harrowing end of life on Earth following a nuclear holocaust, published by Rhinehart.  A runner-up to the Hugo Awards in 1953 - and often considered an overlooked classic.  A very nice copy with only flaw being some light water staining to the inner jacket flap, protected in a removable, mylar archival-grade sleeve.  See pictures for a closer look!
