AMT '62 Pontiac Tempest Hardtop, original issue annual customizing kit. Mostly unbuilt in box.

Kit has not been inventoried with the instruction sheet, but it looks to be missing all of the custom/race parts as well as some of the stock engine parts. 

The body, hood, rear valence chassis, interior tub, dash, steering wheel, column, chrome bumpers and front grill, fender ornaments, tail light bezels, red tail lights, clear glass, 4 chrome hubcaps, 4 wheelbacks, 4 whitewall tires, 4 chassis screws, metal hood clip and 2 metal axles are all accounted for. 

Also including a builtup shortblock engine (but most of the top end pieces are missing) installed in the chassis. 

The only other building I see on the kit is evidence that the grill was lightly glued into the body at one time, the steering wheel having been glued in at one time (the column also seems to have a hole drilled in it), and the wheelbacks being painted and assembled with the wheels.

Including instructions, but no decal sheet.

Box is in good original condition with only minor shelfwear and a bit of magic marker over the kit number on one end.
