"Break Point" is the tennis comedy you didn’t know you needed, where the real match isn’t on the court — it’s between two brothers trying not to strangle each other.
Jeremy Sisto plays Jimmy Price, a talented but self-destructive doubles player whose career is circling the drain faster than a bad serve. Desperate for one last shot, he drags his estranged brother Darren (David Walton) out of his substitute-teaching rut and back onto the court. The catch? They haven’t played together in years, and their teamwork skills are… let’s say a work in progress.
Throw in a precocious 11-year-old ball boy, some very awkward family baggage, and the looming pressure of a Grand Slam tournament, and you get a sports comedy that’s as much about second chances and sibling grudges as it is about tennis.
It’s breezy, funny, and full of “odds stacked against them” charm, with J.K. Simmons and Amy Smart rounding out a cast that knows how to volley between humor and heart.

It takes balls to get back in the game… and maybe a little love, too.
