1794, Printed for J. Johnson, Hardcover, 522 pp + 1 AD page, Text in English. Former library book with a bookplate, stickers, writing, hole punch stamp, and ink stamps. Foxing on various pages. Tape over hinges and end pages’ gutters. The front flyleaf has tears in it. The end pages, title page & fly leaves’ corners have been chipped off. Missing a small portion of the bottom margin of the advertisement page and a small tear on the top of the margin.. Page 17 has a tiny tear in the foredge margin. Page 521/522 foredge margin chipped and a tiny tear in the upper margin. Splits in the hinges. Cover corner leather material chipped off. The book is solidly bound no signs of loose or missing pages.



No other subsequent volumes were ever written by Mary Wollstonecraft. The book’s author, Mary Wollstonecraft, is the mother of the author of ‘Frankenstein’, Mary Shelley.
