A relatively rare and scarce example an antique GPO whistle stamped with Alfred De Courcy & Co, Frankfort St, Birmingham. The whistle is unusual in that despite bearing the De Courcy manufacturers mark, it also has the Hudson 1908 patent number on the cap - so it may have been produced during the period when Hudson took over De Courcy?
