A landmark debut from The Mars Volta, De-Loused In The Comatorium is a concept album inspired by the tragic life of Julio Venegas. Produced by Rick Rubin and Omar Rodríguez-López, the record blends progressive rock, post-hardcore, and experimental textures into a dense, hallucinatory journey. Featuring contributions from Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and John Frusciante, the album was recorded at The Mansion in Laurel Canyon and mixed at Cello Studios in Los Angeles. This UK DADC repress comes in a standard jewel case with a 12-page booklet of artwork and credits.
