(2)Connect the red clamp of the jumper cable to the positive terminal of the dead battery. Note: If there is a plastic protective sleeve on the positive battery terminal, it should be removed first to allow the jumper cable to be connected to the metal pole of the positive terminal.
(3)Connect the red clamp on the other end of this jumper cable to the positive terminal of the charged battery. Take the same precautions as above.
(4)Connect one end of the black clamp of the jumper cable to the negative terminal of the energized battery. The other clamp is connected to a metal part of the engine, such as a protruding bolt or a metal bracket. This connection point should be chosen as far away from the battery as possible, and the connection should be made securely. Some electrical sparks may be generated during the connection, don't worry too much.
(5)Turn off any unrelated accessory electrical equipment on both vehicles, start the vehicle with the battery supplying the power, and let the engine run for a few minutes to allow the power to be fully charged.
