This ring, the 1980's Vanderbilt Jewel ring, featuring a large clear solitaire, is one of their most popular pieces and is a great example of how well-made their costume jewelry could be. Many people mistake it for the real thing.

Uncas began manufacturing jewelry in Providence, RI in 1911. By the 1950s, Uncas had become the largest manufacturer of costume jewelry rings in the United States. The mark found on this ring was used from 1920-1988.
