Childrens' books from the 1930s to 60s...

Thrills & Spills has an inscription dated 1935 so this book is 90 years old. It has some loose pages and is pretty battered, but it's been enjoyed by a number of generations of children down the years. It's an interesting curio, not a collectors item

The rest of the annuals are in acceptable condition with some damage to the spine, some loose pages and some annotations in childish handwriting

They're a nice time capsule of the 50s & 60s, a gentler age perhaps, but also post-war, so not that gentle! 

The Victor Book for Boys glorifies the attack on the dock gates at St Nazaire when the brave Tommies blew up German soldiers. Just thing for kids!
